M8 x 1.25p Metric Coarse Stainless A2-70 G304 Socket (6mm Key) Head Cap Screws DIN 912 / ISO 4762
Socket Head Cap Screws are high-strength cylindrical-head machine screws with a hex socket (Allen key) drive. The tall straight head allows full key engagement for high install torque, and the small head diameter fits into counterbored recesses where a hex bolt head would not. Standard on machinery, jigs, dies, hydraulic manifolds, and any assembly needing high clamp load in a compact head. Manufactured to DIN 912 or ISO 4762 (metric) or ANSI B18.3 with ASTM A574 (imperial).
Important Do not pair stainless fasteners with plain or galvanised steel components in wet service without a nylon washer isolating the metals.Â
The galvanic potential difference accelerates corrosion of the less-noble metal.
